Hand-painted acrylic on supplied resin cast as part of the ‘Blackburn Bee Trail’.

COMMISSION.

As part of the Blackburn Bee Trail, ‘Wainwright Bee’ was supplied as a blank resin bee cast to which I added various elements and painted to represent one of Blackburn’s most famous sons, the late, great, Alfred Wainwright.

It was commissioned by Newground on behalf of Thwaites Brewery in Blackburn (who produce the fine Wainwright Ale).
